Extremely comfy bed, fairly clean bathroom and central heating, multi-channel television, and a writing desk in the room. Spectacular view of whole Zermatt town and Matterhorn day and night from the window.

We got great value for our money at Alpenlodge - beautiful room, amazing view, and helpful staff. The location was perfect for exploring the Swiss Alps.

The breakfast menu could have had more variety.

The most important was the staff - hospitable and efficient people. The quadruple room I got was included with view of the Matterhorn and a loft bedroom and bunk beds.

Everything was lovely, had an absolutely amazing stay on our 3 week European vacation. The staff was especially helpful, the breakfast was outstanding. Also, location was beautiful, a 10-15 minute walk from a cultural-natural museum. Besides, it was close enough to the nearest ski lift and the city centre and shops.

The breakfast here was delicious with local super tasty cheeses, fresh fruits and also berries. Location: the hotel was so close to the ski lift and the town centre.

The hotel's decoration was simply exquisite, with a charming alpine touch that reminded me of home. The cozy lobby and lounge areas were a delight to relax in, especially with the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. As a senior traveler, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility. The staff was always ready to assist me with any needs and they even had elevators available for easy access to different floors. It made my stay comfortable and convenient.

If I had to ask for a better vacation for senior people, the only thing I would suggest is to have a handrail along the outdoor paths. This would provide extra support and ensure the safety of all guests, especially those who may need a little assistance navigating the slopes.

Good value, room was tasteful, staff were very friendly. Units with a view of the matterhorn. The restaurant here was good, we both ordered wonderful dishes.

The hotel was fairly clean with really kind staff and delicious breakfast. Close to a train station, the location was favourable and amazing, on where to eat in town or on the slopes. Also, there was an imposing mountain, set within 15 minutes drive. I truly enjoyed the dining area during the breakfast.

Incredibly beautiful and comfy place with fantastic rooms. Stunning location with awesome views, short walk to the centre of Zermatt as well as the touristy areas. Also, in the center of Zermatt. A lot of food available in the dining area. They provided top-notch service. Everything good.

The rooms are fairly quiet, tasteful, and come with a sitting area, a work desk and a couch bed. The location is favourable - close to a train station.

Delicious homemade jams, cozy lounge bar with open fireplace, beautiful wooden furniture, relaxing sauna and steam room, panoramic views from terrace/balcony, meditative spa atmosphere.

Oh, what a shame! I simply cannot find a single thing to complain about.

Very warm and friendly owner. Our room was excellent. We could look out straight at the matterhorn from our bedroom window. The view was just amazing. A little bit of a walk from the station but necessary to burn off the calories from the delicious foods everywhere. The place felt very homely and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you very much.

The view of the Matterhorn from the Hotel is exquisite, you also have a great view of Zermat from the Hotel.The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The only problem is that it is quite far from the town and it do not serve dinner.It would be nice if they have an agreement with another hotel where their guests could swim on the very hot days.

The room was spotless and modern with a magnificent view across the village. The location was unbeatable by electrical taxi and the stuff here was super friendly.
